Visions of Paradise juxtaposes quotes from the Book of Genesis with display/user names from Grindr–a popular gay, queer and trans hookup app. An algorithm randomly picks and flashes instances from a predefined list that contains an equal number of phrases from both groups. Each time the script is triggered, it generates an entirely unique sequence, creating unexpected and poetic associations.
