Psydwalk is a generative sound exploration, examining stimulus overload and personal anxiety by translating visuals into sound triggers. The urban environment is an unimagined and complicated musical score, with massive amounts of unheard visual data. This series studies the impact of visual data and noise on mental health.
To create the series a video recording of a walk is used as a scrolling score to actuate a composition by using p5js as a player piano or music box.
