Zewp! is a family of automata in which simple agents (called Zewps) move forward until they spot an obstacle in front of them. At that point, they turn until the path ahead is clear. Different versions of Zewp! display different artistic ramifications of groups of these simple agents exploring specific environments. In the Colourzewp! subfamily, the agents adopt the color of any obstacle in front of them (including the color of other Zewps). This reveals a complex dynamic of changing dominance of different colors. In this particular version, there is no user interaction. The world consists of just one or two colored blocks, which change position and color every 5 minutes. This provides a continuous perturbation of the color field that emerges from the behavior of the Zewps.
