The first generative art I created on a computer. My father taught me how to load QBasic and then Nibbles or Gorillas. Curiosity caught and I tried programming myself. My first lesson about how computers worked came from this exercise. Calling RANDOMIZE TIMER on each iteration meant the pseudo random number generator was reset, and instead of getting what looked like random placement I ended up with ... well you will see.
